My name is Maisy, and I've been working as a photographer for many years alongside being a mummy.
I have at a BA (Hons) Degree in Photography from Leeds Arts University, as well as a foundation degree in Fine Art.
I have worked overseas in America teaching Film Photography and have a many years experience working with children as an SEN teacher and part of the Baby Sensory Franchise running my own baby and toddler classes after I had my first child.
I created Jupiter Moon to fit in with my life while I raise my two lovely Yorkshire boys. My heart lies in working with families, supporting women in their motherhood journey, and creating memories that reflect the joy that being a parent brings.
Behind the scenes, I'm constantly learning via online training, safety and posing tutorials, and taking workshops. I love to relax by journalling, sewing, making and crafting. I love to create art and being hands on. I tie in all of my makes into my photography sessions, and love to come up with ideas for parents. I am also a remembrance photographer for 'Remember My Baby' working for the charity to help parents capture images their beautiful children one last time.
I get so much joy from working in such a varied role, and love to see how happy my clients are when they first receive their photos. The fact that I'm able to combine many of the things I love is a bonus, and this doesn't feel like 'work' at all!
At Jupiter Moon I will try my hardest to capture natural images that reflect our session, and always use minimal editing, so photos will appear timeless throughout all of the changing trends.
